HOW TO ACCESS THE REGISTER/ROLL


Click on the “Register/Roll” button at the top of the Nurses Board home page at
www.nursesboard.sa.gov.au. From here you can perform either single or
multiple searches and can either view the results online or download them to a file.


HOW TO PERFORM A SINGLE SEARCH

  • Click on the “Single Search” option
  • Enter Nurse ID (5 digit numerical)


OR

  • Enter Nurse Surname (Surname is sufficient, to narrow the search use given name)
  • Press enter


If the nurse holds current registration the following details will be displayed
online:

  • Nurse ID, Surname, Given Name, Register or Roll, Qualifications, Limitations, Expiry Date


If the details are incorrect or the nurse is not registered the following message will appear:


“No direct match found”


HOW TO PERFORM A MULTIPLE SEARCH BY ENTERING INFORMATION ONLINE

  • Click on the ”Multiple Search” Option
  • Enter the Nurse ID AND Surname
  • Press enter
  • Continue to add multiple entries (entries will appear at the bottom of the form with the most recent entry on top)


When you have completed all your entries you can either view the information online or download the information in a file.


Viewing results online


If the information entered is correct and the nurses hold current registration the following details will be displayed online:

  • Nurse ID, Surname, Given Name, Register/Roll, Qualifications, Limitations, Expiry Date
  • If a nurse is not registered or details have been entered incorrectly the following message will appear:


“No direct match found”


Download results file


The following information will appear in the file:


Date and time Register/Roll was last updated


Nurse ID, Surname, Given Name, Register/Roll, Qualifications, Limitations, Expiry Date


No information will appear next to a name when no direct match is found.
A nurse's name will appear for each qualification held.


HOW TO PERFORM A MULTIPLE SEARCH BY USING A “TAB-DELIMITED TEXT FILE”


  • Click on the Multiple Search option

  • Click on the “Get Template” button to download a template and save the file to your directory (save as a tab-delimited text file ie .txt)

  • Open the file in Excel and enter your information, save the file to your
    directory (save as a tab-delimited text file ie .txt)

  • Return to the multiple search screen, click on the “Browse” button and select your saved tab de-limited text file

  • To view the information online click on the “Search and view online button”, this will display the information online

  • To search and download results click on the “Search and download dump” button, this will display the results in a file that you can save to your own directory


Download results file


The following information will appear in the file:


· Date and time Register/Roll last updated
· Nurse ID, Surname, Given Name, Register or Roll, Qualifications, Limitations, Expiry Date


No information will appear next to a name when no direct match is found.
A nurse's name will appear for each qualification held.
