Instead you can register under the Mutual Recognition Act 1992. Similarly, if you hold current registration or enrolment in South Australia, it is not necessary for you to be further assessed for registration or enrolment in other states or territories in Australia or New Zealand. However, you will need to contact the relevant nurse regulatory authority to undertake their registration process before you can work as either a nurse, midwife, mental health nurse or nurse practitioner.
