FEE STRUCTURE
Following is the current schedule of fees which can be paid by EFTPOS, credit card, cheque, money order or cash. Do not send cash by mail. All fees must be paid in Australian dollars ($AUD).
Certificate of Registration/Enrolment Fee $115.00
Initial Registration/Enrolment Fee $75.00
Reinstatement Fee $75.00
Additional Qualification Fee $35.00
Overseas Assessment - NBSA Assessed $120.00
Overseas Assessment - ANMC Assessed $20.00
Nurse Practitioner Assessment $100.00
Enrolled Nurse without Supervision Assessment $100.00
Verification to Other Boards - if file held locally $15.00
Verification to Other Boards - if file requires retrieval
(been inactive for 5 years or more) $30.00
Badge (RN/EN etc) $10.00
Replacement Badge $10.00
Replacement Certificate $10.00
All annual Certificates of Registration and Enrolment expire on the 31st of August. For nurses and midwives reinstating, you will need to pay both the reinstatement fee ($75) and the cost of a Certificate of Registration or Enrolment (also known as practising certificate). If you are joining the register or roll for the first time, you will need to pay both the initial registration fee ($75) and the cost of a Certificate of Registration or Enrolment.
The practising certificate fee will vary depending on the month in which it is processed. If you register in July or August you will pay the annual fee but your registration will expire the following year. Below is the cost of a practising certificate dependent on the month in which you are registering.
Processed in July, August, September, October and November 2008 $115.00
Processed in December 2008, January and February 2009 $85.00
Processed in March, April, May and June 2009 $60.00
