The Board assesses all applications for registration or enrolment. The form titled "Application for Assessment of Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualifications Gained in Countries other than Australia or New Zealand" includes a list in Section 10 of documentation that must be provided so that an application can be processed. The receipt of the appropriate fee is also necessary (Overseas Assessment - NBSA Assessed). The outcome of the application is advised upon completion of the assessment.
Please note that it can take up to four to six months for an assessment to be completed.
